What to do when terror strikes... because your projector fails to fire up (15 Sep 09)

Whatever you do don’t panic. Take these 12 essential tips with you. If things don’t go to plan, read them calmly - and relax


This may be the most boringly practical thing I’ve ever sent.

But my goodness, it’s important.

You know the scenario. The room is filling up, and just to make sure everything’s OK you turn the projector on. It doesn’t work!

I always carry a spare bulb, as these are prone to go, especially if a previous presenter has misused the projector.
